NEW YEAR

Hey everyone! Happy New Year to you all!

We get to finally put 2022 behind us and prepare for 2023. A lot has happened in my life over the past 365 days. On the first day of the new year, I always like to go back and reflect on events that occurred during the year, and what to expect for the year up ahead.

Ironically, I started and ended the year with COVID. I tested positive exactly one year ago today, and also tested positive in the middle of December. I’m very glad that over the past few years we have made advancements in our technology to help with deal with this disease. I’m doing a lot better and have since been tested negative, so I’m now immune for a little bit.

Speaking of health, I had a rough battle with it this year. I was dealing with lots of mental and physical health issues throughout this year, which I have been working on improving. I’m currently still on the road to recovery, but I am for sure doing a lot better now than I was a few months ago.

Once I get these improved more, I will work all-out on my physical health. I have had a gym membership for a while now, but have not been able to put it to it’s full use from feeling ill or under the weather so often. Once my condition approves, I will try to make it a goal to improve my physical well-being. I also want to gain more weight, so that is a goal I’ll have to work hard to achieve!

I’ve learned a lot about designing over the past year! Looking into my future, I will keep honing my skills and improving my work to get a full time job in a career that brings me joy. I’ll also try to do more fun projects. I’d like to re-start up my YouTube channel and maybe just edit some videos, or show some of the work that I’ve done so far. The possibilities for things I can design in the upcoming year are endless!

I also hope to make many great memories and friends this year. I have lots of things planned for the year ahead, and I can’t wait for what’s to come. It may sound cheesy, but I do have a few New Year’s resolutions that I will try to stick to. But, it will help me a ton if I am able to complete them. Get ready for the next 365 days, and let’s make them great!
